Ted Meyer is a wonderful speaker and advocate for the value of art in the healing process. The senses of humor and pathos we see in his art translate into glib and articulate commentary in his presentations.

Associate Director, Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Washington, DC

Ted Meyer presents a visually appealing story that will find audience members nodding, laughing and understanding. He combines humor, knowledge and art to create a powerful message.

Your talk was memorable and will have lasting impact on my students - physician leaders of tomorrow.  You may not realize what a profound influence it will have.

Chief of the Department of Pediatric GI/Hepatology at Yale University School of Medicine

Ted Meyer spoke to my class "Artists and Designers in the Real World" at San Diego City College in the Fall Semester 2015. This course introduces students to how artists make a living, get inspired, and develop their work.

Ted presented an illustrated lecture that throughly engaged my students. He began with his history of childhood illness, and how making art helped him cope. He describe the many careers in the arts he has had, from illustrator, to photographer, to graphic designer, to curator, to health care and motivational speaker. This constant adaptation to changes in the art market is a reality check to students.

The students loved the humor in his lecture, and his work. They were inspired by his life story, and how he helps so many people to heal emotionally, and celebrate their survival.

Dr. Simi Rahman - she is great at speaking with medical students on a level that preserves her authority and leadership but also made me feel like a colleague, so going to a class that she was leading made me feel more like I was learning from a friend than some stuffy art history lecturer.
