Artist team Ted Meyer and Anna Stump create portraits that capture their subjects’ features along with their full patient narrative. Through in-depth interviews with their patient-subjects, the team paints portraits incorporating facts, emotions and stories that make each subject unique.
Meyer and Stump also art direct mural projects on mental health issues, produced live and onsite at medical conventions. |
Through his work over as Artist-in-Residence at UCLA's Geffen School of Medicine and now at USC Keck School of Medicine Ted has developed a diverse collection of art shows about medical conditions that are available as traveling exhibitions.
ART and MED also specializes in developing customized shows of artwork involving patients, caregivers, families, medical practitioners and researchers in order to create unique bodies of original artwork that speak to issues of health and healing. ART and MED will also help schools and organizations develop their own medical art gallery or Artist in Residence programs.
